A Man with a Tape Recorder Up His Nose is a sketch that appears in "The Ant, an Introduction," the ninth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

An announcer (John Cleese) behind Ada's Snack Bar announces that it is time for something completely different and cuts to a man (Michael Palin) with a tape recorder up his nose, which plays the "Marseillaise." He reverses it and plays it again. A voiceover then announces the next sketch.
