Synopsis[]
The head of the Careers Advisory Board (Michael Palin) introduces himself and sadly admits that he much preferred several other careers.
He then presents a successful encyclopaedia salesman (Eric Idle), who passes himself off as a burglar to a pepperpot (John Cleese). She lets him in and he reveals his true occupation.
The Careers Advisory Board head than presents three unsuccessful encyclopaedia salesman, who are all thrown out windows.
