In this episode Michael Palin and Terry Jones play two gangsters, Dino and Luigi Vercotti, who attempt an outrageously obvious protection racket hoping to extort money from the Colonel, played by Graham Chapman, in exchange for agreeing to protect his army. After a brief dialogue between the gangsters and the unimpressed Colonel, the latter exclaims that the whole premise is too silly and orders that the show proceed to an animated segment, which it does. From "Monty Python’s Flying Circus" Series 1, Episode 8, "Full Frontal Nudity", the sketch premiered on the 7 December 1969.
