The Gumby Brian Specialist sketch, also known as Gumby Brain Surgery, is a Monty Python sketch featuring Michael Palin, John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Terry Jones as Gumbies (a group of slow-witted individuals attired in gumboots, high-water trousers, braces and wire-rimmed glasses with toothbrush moustaches and handkerchiefs on top of thier heads. Recurring characters in "Monty Python's Flying Circus"). The sketch was originally featured in Episode 6 of Series 3 of "Monty Python's Flying Circus", first broadcast on 23 November 1972. It is from this sketch that the infamous phrase "My brain hurts!" comes.
