Non-Illegal Robbery - Monty Python' Flying Circus

Non-Illegal Robbery is a sketch that appears in the sixth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus, "It's the Arts."

A group of gangsters discuss a detailed plan to go to a jewellery store to purchase a watch. One of them (Terry Jones) notes that they are not doing anything illegal and the boss (Michael Palin) states that they would not be given the watch if they stole it and is upset when another gangster (Eric Idle) leaves his car parked five minutes overdue.

Another gang is seen robbing a bank and various people are interviewed about burglary. Among them is Inspector Praline, who states he will be appearing in a sketch.
