The Dull Life of a City Stockbroker is a sketch that appears in the fifth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus, "It's the Arts.


A stockbroker (Michael Palin) leaves his home in the morning and two men in their briefs (Graham Chapman, Terry Jones) step out of the cupboards. He then begins his day, oblivious to the odd events surrounding him. His neighbour (Graham Chapman) is speared by an African tribesman, he buys a newspaper from a naked woman, the Frankenstein monster (John Cleese) kills people at the bus stop, the bus is full of soldiers and is attacked by opposing forces, a driverless car takes him to work, various people in his office are dead, and a couple snog at his desk. Finally reaching his desk, he reads a comic book.
