Whizzo Butter is a sketch that appears in "Whither Canada?," the first episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

SynopsisEdit

The sketch begins with an animation of a man spreading Whizzo Butter on a piece of bread, announcing that the butter is indistinguishable from a dead crab.

Petterpots (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Jones, Eric Idle) try Whizzo Butter, declaring they cannot tell the difference between it and a dead crab, the interviewer (Michael Palin) confirming this finding to the audience, saying that nine out of ten British housewives have the same observation of Whizzo Butter. After they realize he is on television, one threatens to slit his face with a razor.
